Amazon.com offers a great service called Fulfillment by Amazon which allows you to ship all the items to Amazon then they fulfill your orders when they come in and they handle all customer service calls.

Some expats order items from China then sell on Amazon.com or Ebay.com. You can find Chinese manufacturers at www.Alibaba.com. Get a sample shipped to you first to check the quality. If it looks good, start with 50 items which you have shipped to Amazon for them to handle fulfillment. Set up a Seller Central account- for free. Then advertise your item on Amazon. Seller Central has a lot of free training for selling products on Amazon. One tip – make sure that you private label your product.

Of course, if you start this kind of business before you move to overseas then it will be much easier, plus you will already have income.
